We had a wonderful time in Greece. The tourist season has recently ended and the weather is perfect at this time of year.  Last year we went in August when it was very hot and the crowds were too much. We didn't realize how hard it would be to do all the hiking and climbing with those high temperatures, but the weather this time was perfect. The water was beautiful and warm. Hope you enjoy a few pictures from our adventure.

Athens Acropolis

Then we drove to through the Peloponnese, which is the beautiful countryside of Greece.

We sat at the Polylimnio falls all day. It was so peaceful and breathtaking. It was a little chilly but I had to swim. We sure did a lot of hiking and climbing on this trip, but well worth every step.

On the way to our last stop we found this beach from looking down off the roadside. I am so glad we pulled off the road to check it out. It was stunning. A little piece of heaven. So tranquil !!!

 The grotto is so neat and we had it all to ourselves.

 

 Then we drove to the ancient town of Mystras Sparta. So amazing to see!

Lastly, we went to the most southern point in Europe, the Mani region.

It is amazingly beautiful and the food is so delicious.
